Nyota Luxury Camp currently comprises 16 spacious guest tents. This allows us to provide an intimate and personal service to all. Each tent is built with your comfort and privacy in mind.
The tents are built on hard wood platforms. They have wooden floors, wooden partitions (to separate the main living space from the bathroom) and a wooden wraparound veranda that includes a private outside shower.
Whilst you are technically inside a tent, the level of comfort and safety makes this difficult to believe!
The tents have been thoughtfully designed and located within the camp to offer maximum privacy for our guests. Sitting on your veranda you will be able to breathe in the Serengeti in all its glory.
Nyota Luxury Tented Camp is situated in a prime location in Seronera, in the middle of the Serengeti. To reach Nyota, you can either fly in (from Zanzibar, Dar, Kilimanjaro or Arusha) or drive (safaris normally start in Arusha). Whilst the drive time is significant (approximately 7 hours), it is usually broken up by a visit to one of the other National Parks, or the incredible Ngorongoro Crater. Driving through Ngorongoro Conservation Area is spectacular and well worth it.
Nyota Luxury Tented Camp is a 30 minute drive from Seronera Airstrip and easy to find! The Orangi river meanders along the Camps’ borders, attracting a wide variety of wildlife. Seronera is an excellent location to stay throughout the year and there is always plenty to see, hear and experience. It is possible to take a Guided walk down to the river to look for wildlife and listen to the gentle babbling of the river. A perfect spot to experience the magic of the Serengeti!
