Location

Nyota Luxury Tented Camp is situated in a prime location in Seronera, in the middle of the Serengeti. To reach Nyota, you can either fly in (from Zanzibar, Dar, Kilimanjaro or Arusha) or drive (safaris normally start in Arusha). Whilst the drive time is significant (approximately 7 hours), it is usually broken up by a visit to one of the other National Parks, or the incredible Ngorongoro Crater. Driving through Ngorongoro Conservation Area is spectacular and well worth it.

Nyota Luxury Tented Camp is a 30 minute drive from Seronera Airstrip and easy to find! The camp is in the Northern part of Seronera, on the left-hand side of the road that goes to Lobo (Special Campsite Banagi 5).

The Orangi river meanders along the Camps’ borders, attracting a wide variety of wildlife. Seronera is an excellent location to stay throughout the year and there is always plenty to see, hear and experience. It is possible to take a Guided walk down to the river to look for wildlife and listen to the gentle babbling of the river. A perfect spot to experience the magic of the Serengeti!
